Perlite 15L
Perlite is a natural mineral, treated to a very high temperature to make it 'pop' (like popcorn). The result is a very lightweight, white porous stone that is used in horticulture in propagation.
Either strike cuttings in pure perlite, or add it to your favourite propagating medium. The lightness of perlite makes it easy for roots to penetrate, and access air and moisture.
Being a mineral, it lasts almost indefinitely. It is sterile.
Its light weight makes it ideal to mix with potting mix in large pots/planters to make them easier to move around, and is ideal for balconies and roof top gardens.
Available in 15L bags.
