Produced by Australian Mineral Fertilisers, the WA company that manufactures Growsafe fertliser.  The same microbial mix used in their fertiliser and agricultural seed coating mix, available in smaller packs for the home gardener (comes with instruction sheet for use).

AMF claim the mixture, which is activated by water, contains 24 - 30 species of beneficial bacteria and fungi to assist with creating a healthy soil/healthy plant balance.  The list of species they provide includes:

• Actinomycetes - assist in soil health and nutrient cycling
• Azotobacter - produce plant growth regulators
• Azospirillum - free-living N fixers, convert atmospheric Nitrogen
• Bacilli lactic - acid bacteria, help soil conditioning and structure
• Cellulosic fungi - cellulose decomposers release organic Carbon
• Mycorrhiza fungi - involved in mineral nutrient uptake to plants
• Phosphobacter - convert Phosphorus
• Pseudomonas - soldier bacteria help protect plants and root zone
• Rhizobium - legume nitrogen fixers
• Streptomyces - anti-pathogenic
• Saccharomyces yeasts
• Trichoderma spp in Premium Ag and Trichoderma Plus blends.

The sachet size is 10gms which is enough for a foliar spray/fertigation mixture to treat 500m2.

Beneficial microbes can be used as a soil drench or as a foliar spray, or used to pre-charge (soak) biochar or cocopeat.
